Embracing collaboration to solve tomorrow's challenges

The global challenges we face today are raising critical questions for how we produce and consume food. How do we ensure food security for a growing population while reducing the high levels of waste we see today? As the need to move to a circular economy becomes clearer, what sustainable packaging materials can we use to ensure safe delivery of food to consumers?

We’re building a collaborative innovation ecosystem that will make it possible to answer these questions. Together with collaborators from the worlds of tech, start-ups, academia and more, we are working to develop future solutions for the food & beverage industry.

Protecting food, people and the planet

To answer these questions, we focus on areas that support our purpose: We commit to making food safe and available, everywhere and we promise to protect what’s good. Some examples include a focus on sustainable materials, reducing waste and food production.

Reducing waste

On the way towards addressing a vital Sustainable Development Goal, we are working on reducing inefficiency and fighting food waste across the food value chain.

Food production

By producing food in a responsible, sustainable and innovative way, we can move towards UN’s second Sustainable Development Goal of zero hunger by 2030.
